Fish & Game Department

The Fish, Wildlife & Parks Department is responsible for managing the fisheries and wildlife resource on the Reservation. It was developed as part of the Tribes’ conversion to a self-governing body in the mid-1990’s. The departmental facility is located on Highway 51, one mile north of the Tribal Headquarters and the Idaho and Nevada border. The department employs three Biologists, a Secretary, and a Director year-round. In addition, eleven field Technicians and Student Youth Program workers are employed throughout the field season.
