The structure protection of the Fire Department consists of 16 volunteers that are currently in the Firefighter One IFSTA (International Fire Service Training Association) certified. We are a registered Fire Department through the Nevada Fire Marshall Office (#05957). All incident reports are submitted into a national database (much like Wildland) called the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS)administered Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Most recently we’ve been reporting to the NV State WebEOC database. The Sho-Pai Volunteer Fire Department follows the certification and standards of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The Fire Department uses the Incident Command System when managing all emergency incidents. We are National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliant. All members are trained in basic first-aid and CPR. SPFD is also a proud member of Idaho Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services Association (IVFESA)
