If you or someone you know are a victim/survivor of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Dating Violence, or Stalking, and are in immediate danger, call 911.

If you or someone you know who would like more information or seek program assistance, contact the STOP Violence office at (775) 757-2013, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

After hours, contact Law Enforcement at (775) 757-3624, who will contact on-call STOP Violence Staff to contact you.

The STOP Violence Program provides support services depending on the need and the victimization type:

 
  • Emergency Shelter, food, basic necessities;
  • Transportation;
  • Peer Counseling;
  • Assistance with filing court documents (based on Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Dating Violence, and Stalking crimes);
  • Court Accompaniment Advocacy that includes assistance with the court process;
  • Referrals for assistance from other departments as deemed necessary
