OPTUM Evaluates OCHF’s Behavioral Health Department

Submitted By Anthony Marshall, THA

OCHF

On March 14, 2019, the Behavioral Health Department had an on-site review by United Behavioral Health operating under the brand name Optum®. The department undergoes a review every three years to ensure the OCHF Behavioral Health fulfills contractual provisions and to ensure OCHF Behavioral Health meets standards for treatment record documentation.

The reviewer examined the OCHF Facility and department’s environment of care, patient rights and responsibilities, safety and security, addressing infectious diseases, treatment records, complaint policy, treatment access, patient safety, service delivery, and human resources.  On March 20, 2019 the Behavioral Health Department received official notification that they passed this review.  The Behavioral Health Department strives to provide the highest quality of care to the people of this community.
