Day Care Center

Welcome

The Owyhee Day Care Center Staff would like to welcome you and your child(ren) to our Day Care Center. The admission policy is non-discriminatory and all children regardless of race, national origin, or religion are welcome.

The center provides services for children age 6 weeks through 6 years of age. Enrollment forms can be picked up at the center or through the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes Social Services Department. Child care is provided on a first come first serve basis and depends upon the availability of space.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide quality child care to the children residing on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation and to educate parents, staff, as well as community members on the importance of early childhood development. We will not teach specific academic skills but we will allow children to develop readiness skills at their own pace by providing a wide range of learning activities.
